Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I have been so busy with my new job and also filling order for Puddin's Retreat, I have now over 1000 fans on facebook now, Thank you everyone! I still love sewing and hope to bring you many more product at affordable prices. I was asked a questions this week I thought i would share, I was asked What was the most product sold, after some time of thinking it was a toss up between The Russian dolls and the Owl Hair Clips, but The Owl Clips have one Out. They are so cute. Here is a picture of the Owl Clips and a few other clips I make.

I haven't been around much lately, as i have been very busy preparing for the Market stall which i am going to be at this Friday Night! it will be held at Evergreen Lifestyle Centre in Northlakes and goes from 6pm - 9pm, so if you free and looking for something to do why not come down it will be a great Family night out.

I have had my camera - which is a DMC FZ30 panasonic for 3 and half years, and haven't played with it much, untill now, Saturday morning i was invited to go down to shornclifee and take pics of the sunrise, I was assured that my camera was good enough to take really good photo's which i wasn't sure about, Well That soon changed and i managed to snap a few good shots and learnt more about my camera and the AP setting. I still need to learn more and practice. But here is my favour shot :)

Lately i have been making things for my etsy shop but today i made these, I just love how these personalized key fobs turned out.

They were really fun to make and i think will make great gifts :). The middle one is for my mum and the other two are for a friend of hers grandchildren i think they will be very happy. ( well i hope so lol)

Knitting Bag

Here is a Knitting Bag espically designs to hold all your knitting supplies.

On the outside there is a pocket to hold a pair of 9" or smaller knitting needles.

A second pocket outside to hold scissors with a piece of ribbon to tie onto the handles so you don't loose your scissors.

The large poacket inside holds your ball of yarn. It has velcro across the entire open to keep the yarn safe, with a large eyelet hole to thread your yarm through for easy knitting without taking the yarn out of the bag.

Also it has a Large over the shoulder strap.

This is my first attempt at sewing on stretch denim and also embroidery on it. I must say i am very impressed how it turned out.
It didn't take me very long only about 4 hours tops and i think the next time i do one it will be shorter, But i must add it is very comfy to wear!

July Challenge - Pleats - for the 12mths sewing Challenge

This months Challenge is - Pleats - I have never sewn pleats before so i wanted to do something that wasn't too hard and i found the awesome pattern at skiptomylou a Pleated Pouch I added the embroidery name on the front and I very happy with how the pouch turned out and the instructions were easy to follow

As i have mention in previous post I'm in an Apron swap, On the 27/4/10 I packaged up the apron I made (see early post for pics of the apron) and cook book and have send it off to my partner.

We had a long weekend in queensland and I planned to craft all weekend long but it didn't go as planned, I didn't get much time to craft but i did manage to embroider a jumper for my nephew (he loves it so much as he picked the design) and i made some in the hoop tote bags.

On Friday Afternoon i sat down with my sewing machine and decided i wasn't moving untll my apron was made :D, luck for me I finshed it friday night at around 11pm, so it wasn't too late (lol). I hope my partner likes what i have made for her, she said liked all colours and also collected teapots.

A big thankyou goes out to my mum for modeling the Apron while I took the picture :)

Knitted Bracelets

I learnt how to make these bracelets awhile ago but never quite master the art untill now, and i am very impressed with how they turned out and i also must add they are very very addictive. I think they are a great idea to give as gifts to your Family and Friends.

Knitting Needle Roll

What I hear you say.. What would I be doing making Knitting Needle Rolls when I don't even knit.. LoL.. The answers is For a Swap of Course!!! - Well as you know I make most of my stuff for swaps and I stumpled across a picture on flickr of a Silk and cotton yarn crocheted scarf made by Secret Sheep.

It's Fantastic, so I sent her a message saying I would swap anything for one and all she asked for in return was for a Knitting Needle Roll. I was so excited I got stuck in straight away and here is the finshed product.

Well as some of you are aware I have had this on my flickr for about a week or two and since then I have had been asked to make two more for swaps!!! One if for a crocheted needle roll (basically a smaller version of this one for crochet needles) and another one of these.

I must say i am VERY VERY impressed! :) so far i have embroidery tea towels, applicayed on to tea towels, in the hoop tissue holders, fabric post cards and quilted backgrounds for my mini art quilts!!

This mini art quilt is made by me for a swap on swap-bot - The swap was that you send you pic to the person and they make something out of it :) - My partner sent me picture of her pet turtle Herman, so i turned it into a mini art quilt, i'm very happy with the way it turned out, and my first go at stippling free hand. I really hope she likes it.

I really do enjoy sewing these mini art quilt, and will be making more.

Well as most of you guys know, I have gotten the Crafting Bug!, and I'm loving it that much that I now own a Sewing Machine! I know I know I said I would never own one and If you asked me a year ago would I get one I would of laughed at you and said noway, BUT it is the best thing ever, the machine may be old but it runs like a Dream!!!!! What else do you get when you have a sewing machine, Yup you guess it a Overlocker!!! WOOHOO I can Finally Sew Paper!! and yeah other things too of course!

I was speaking to my friend yesterday and she talked me in to joining a Cupcake ATC swap with her on swap-bot, So here is it!!! My First ATC Yay!!!

So what is an ATC you are wondering- ATC stands for Artist Trading Card
An artist trading card (or ATC for short) is a tiny, original piece of art created with the intention of swapping or trading it with another artist, not selling it. The one rule an artist trading card must adhere to is the size. An ATC must be 2.5x3.5 inches or 64x89 mm.
